Mr Thomas Preben Hansen

Mgt1 Mr Thomas Preben Hansen is the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Trustee-Manager and was appointed in December 2006. Mr Hansen has more than 15 years' experience in the shipping industry. Prior to joining the Trustee-Manager, he was a director within the Clarkson Group, a leading shipping services provider listed on the London Stock Exchange, where he was responsible for the overall development and implementation of Clarkson's container business strategy for Asia. He was regularly engaged in the chartering, sale and acquisition of containerships as well as conducting shipping market analysis. He also advised and assisted major container carrier clients in pursuing and evaluating investment opportunities. Prior to joining Clarkson Group, Mr Hansen worked for the Danish shipowning group, Knud I. Larsen (KIL), where he held positions in technical and commercial departments from 1995 to 1997. Between 1998 and 2000, he was the regional representative for KIL Singapore Pte. Ltd. where he was responsible for the chartering of KIL's container fl eet in Asia to liner companies such as NOL and Mærsk and was also actively involved in the placement and management of numerous ships under the Singapore Registry of Ships. Mr Hansen holds a certificate in Maritime Law from Copenhagen Business College and he is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Mr Gerard Low Shao Khang

Mgt2 Mr Gerard Low Shao Khang was appointed chief financial officer (CFO) of the Trustee-Manager on 15 February 2011. He has more than 18 years' experience in business, investments, operations and financial management across a wide range of industries. Before joining the Trustee-Manager, Mr Low was owner and managing partner of Berioza Associates, a provider of outsourced CFO and corporate advisory services. Between 2005 and 2008, he was Group CFO and Executive Director at Delifrance Asia group, where he oversaw the financial reporting, corporate planning and treasury management of the entire group. Before Delifrance, he spent several years at PAMA Group Inc., one of the earliest private equity firms in Asia, where he was responsible for direct investments and post-investment monitoring. Mr Low also represented PAMA on the boards of several investee companies. He started his career in audit at KPMG. Mr Low graduated from Singapore's Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
